About STAR Education

STAR Education is NewGlobe's government partnership programme in India, launched in 2020 to improve foundational learning outcomes in government primary schools. Operating across 450 schools and reaching over 78,000 pupils, the programme delivers structured literacy and numeracy instruction supported by regular teacher coaching and continuous pupil assessment.

Teachers are equipped with structured lesson plans and tablet-based materials that guide daily instruction, alongside weekly supervision visits and coaching from programme staff. Data on lesson delivery and pupil performance is reviewed regularly to track progress and identify schools requiring additional support.
