About RwandaEQUIP

RwandaEQUIP is NewGlobe's education reform programme in Rwanda, operating in partnership with the Rwanda Basic Education Board since 2020. Spanning more than 700 schools and 833,903 pupils, the programme delivers structured literacy and numeracy instruction to support Rwanda's national agenda of achieving universal quality foundational learning at primary level.

Teachers are equipped with structured lesson plans and coaching support through tablet-enabled instruction and regular school visits. The programme tracks lesson delivery and pupil assessment data weekly, enabling rapid identification of schools that need additional support and continuous refinement of the instructional model.
