About JigawaUNITE

JigawaUNITE is NewGlobe's education reform programme in Jigawa State, Nigeria, launched with the state government in 2023. The programme reaches 250 schools and over 84,000 pupils, providing structured instruction in both English and Hausa to build foundational literacy and numeracy skills from pre-primary through Grade 6.

JigawaUNITE equips teachers with tablet-based lesson materials and structured lesson plans, supported by regular coaching from school supervisors. Programme data is reviewed weekly to identify learning gaps and guide targeted support, ensuring rapid improvement in classroom instruction across Jigawa's diverse school communities.
