About EdoBEST JSS

EdoBEST JSS is NewGlobe's junior secondary programme in Edo State, Nigeria, extending the proven EdoBEST model from primary into JSS 1–3. Launched in 2018 in partnership with the Edo State Government, the programme serves over 145,000 pupils across 380 junior secondary schools, focusing on core literacy, numeracy, and key subject outcomes for pupils transitioning from primary education.

EdoBEST JSS uses the same technology-enabled instructional approach as the primary programme — structured lesson plans on tablets, regular teacher coaching, and weekly data reviews — adapted for the broader curriculum of the junior secondary level.
